Wherever you look, at the clouds or at the ground, there'll always be an almost invisible detail worthy to look at.
You can find this lovely-shaped stone in the paving of a little "rue" in Clermont Ferrand, in the middle of France.
The story says that a baker did the little heart in front of his shop in memory of his beloved wife.

Curious about the process ?
here is the first sketch :
re-drawn with Adobe Illustrator... lines, shapes, gradients, shading, patterns, patience ;) ...
and we end up on Photoshop, adding some subtle textures in the character and as a background.
As for the text, I used some cute free fonts from the great myfonts.com
